A candlelit Intended table set for eight in an intimate private dining room
An invitation — not an app

A seat at the table is earned.

Intended seats four women and four men who are serious about finding a partner around one candlelit table. Phones away. Fully present. The way it was always meant to be.

Now reviewing applications for the first Los Angeles tables — August 2026. Tables seat eight; we compose them in small batches.

The Evening

Not a date. A dinner worth dressing for.

There's no swiping, no small-talk marathon, no pressure to perform. Just a beautiful room, a long table, good wine, and seven people worth knowing. Intended turns dating back into what it should be — an occasion, not a chore.

A Single Evening

The evening, hour by hour.

There's no script. But every table seems to find the same unhurried rhythm.

7:58

You arrive; a place card knows your name.

8:04

Phones in the box, wine open.

8:20

The first "wait, really?"

10:47

Nobody has checked the time.

Next morning

We ask one question: who would you like to see again?

The Intended Method

How every table comes together.

Every applicant is reviewed by hand against our compatibility framework — the criteria we believe actually predict a lasting match: intention, life stage, values, how you treat people, and whether you're truly ready for what you say you want.

Then every table is composed deliberately. Not filtered — composed. Eight people, each seated for specific reasons, every pairing considered before an invitation goes out. And after each dinner, what our members tell us makes the next table better.

No swiping. No feed. No luck. A method.

"Composed, not filtered."
The Table

Eight people. One table. No phones.

Intended is built on a simple belief: the best connections happen face to face, over a long dinner, with your full attention. Here's how an evening comes together.

I

Apply for membership

Tell us who you are and what you're looking for. Every application is reviewed by hand — we curate for intention, not swipes.

II

We match the table

Every table is composed by hand using the Intended Method — real compatibility across values, ambition, and chemistry, never left to chance.

III

Phones go away

You arrive to a candlelit table and set your phone aside for the evening. No screens, no distractions — only the people in front of you.

IV

You stay present

Over a long, unhurried dinner, real conversation happens. Afterwards, tell us who you'd like to see again.

Who Joins

The kind of people worth crossing a room for.

Intended is intentionally small and intentionally selective. Membership is reviewed case by case — because the table is only as good as the people around it. Every member is identity-verified and reviewed by hand before they're seated.

Serious about it

You're not here to collect matches. You want a partner, and you're done pretending otherwise.

Late 20s to early 40s

Established, curious, and at the point in life where the right person matters more than the next app.

Great at a table

You can hold a conversation, ask a good question, and make the person across from you feel seen.

Ready to be present

You'll happily trade a night of scrolling for a night that actually means something.

Who We Are

Built by people who found what you're looking for.

Intended was created by three couples. Not by growth hackers optimizing your swipes — by six people who remember exactly how hard it is to find the right person, and what it felt like when they finally did.

Dating apps profit when you keep searching. We only succeed when you stop needing us. That's the whole point.

Everything you're wondering, answered.

Still deciding whether Intended is for you? Here are the things people ask most before they apply.

How are the tables matched?

Every application is reviewed by hand against the Intended Method — our compatibility framework covering intention, life stage, values, how you treat people, and readiness. Tables of eight are then composed deliberately, seat by seat. It's composed, not filtered.

Who is at the table?

Four women and four men, all marriage-minded and roughly late 20s to early 40s. Everyone at the table has applied, been reviewed, and been approved for the same reason you have — to meet someone worth meeting.

What does membership cost?

Founding membership is $79/month (regular price $129/month), and founding pricing is locked in for life for our first members in each city. Membership covers your seat, the matching, and the room. Dinner and drinks on the night are on you.

Do I have to give up my phone?

Yes — and it's the point. You set your phone aside for the evening so you can be fully present with the seven people in front of you. No screens, no distractions.

Which cities are you in?

We're forming our very first tables in Los Angeles now. Apply to claim founding-member pricing and a place in line as we open seats in your city.

Is it safe, and who gets approved?

Every member is identity-verified and reviewed by hand before being seated. Membership is intentionally selective and approved case by case — the table is only as good as the people around it.

A note from the founders

We're three couples. We built Intended because the best thing in our lives shouldn't be this hard to find. We read every application ourselves — every single one.
